The United States Olympic Committee has agreed a partnership with Accounting Principals, which specialises in the recruitment and placement of accounting and finance professionals.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Accounting Principals will serve as the official career transition services sponsor for Team USA.
In conjunction with the committee, Accounting Principals will launch the Athlete Career and Education Programme, which has been designed to help US Olympians, Paralympians, coaches and hopefuls build their professional skills and prepare for life after their sporting career ends.
Participants that sign up the programme will gain access to various career training, job placement assistance and part-time job opportunities.
