Australian motor-racing series the Supercars Championship has agreed a sponsorship deal with online gambling operator Unibet.
The two-year deal names Unibet as the official betting and wagering partner of the series.
Unibet will benefit from on-track signage as part of the agreement, as well as promotion during television broadcasts. Consumer promotions and activations will also be launched, with a focus to be placed on digital content to provide fans with series-related statistics.
“Unibet Australia is looking forward to working with Supercars to ensure fans are as well informed as possible when watching and betting on their favourite teams and drivers,” Julian Timmins, Unibet’s head of marketing and operations, said. “We see Supercars as a fantastic platform to engage with and inform punters.”
The partnership commences with this weekend’s Townsville 400 event.
