The International Cycling Union (UCI) has signed a four-year extension to its long-running partnership with Italian sportswear manufacturer Santini.
The new agreement will run from 2017 to 2020. As part of the deal, Santini will continue to supply World Cup leader jerseys and world champion jerseys across all disciplines of the sport. The company will also provide protocol jerseys for the women’s WorldTour circuit.
Santini first partnered with the UCI in 1988 and also supports the body’s World Cycling Centre, which provides coaching and training facilities for athletes around the world.
Monica Santini, chief executive of Santini Maglificio Sportivo, said: “Our relationship with the UCI represents a fundamental chapter in the company and family history of Santini, who for almost 30 years has dressed the world's best athletes in many disciplines, from road cycling to track, from cyclo-cross to mountain bike.”
