Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch will become a founding partner of the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas from next year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The National Football League’s Raiders are scheduled to move from Oakland, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada, in the summer of 2020.
The partnership will include a Twitch-branded lounge, featuring interactive elements such as streamer stations, Twitch viewing screens, Twitch events and esports competitions.
“The Twitch Lounge will elevate the spectator experience for Raiders fans in a brand new way — bridging the connection between fans in the stadium and at home unlike ever before,” said Raiders president Marc Badain in a statement.
Last month, the Raiders secured a naming-rights deal with Allegiant Air. The partnership is estimated to be worth $20-$25m per year over 20 years.
