Turkish healthcare group Acibadem has agreed a deal to sponsor the next two editions of the Final Four stage of the EuroLeague club basketball competition.
Acibadem will serve as the official medical services provider for the 2017 and 2018 Final Four events, the former of which will take place in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Under the agreement, Acibadem will provide all medical services and professionals at arenas, fan zones, official hotels and other sites.
Acibadem becomes the latest Turkey-based company to partner with the league, which is title sponsored by Turkish Airlines.
Euroleague Basketball president and chief executive Jordi Bertomeu said: “The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague’s status as the first true league in European sports history and our pinnacle weekend at the Final Four have proven attractive to a new and important sector, health, so we are proud to make Acibadem part of Euroleague Basketball's growing family of partners.”
This season’s Final Four will take place in Istanbul from May 19-21, with Belgrade in Serbia to stage next year’s event.
