Online gaming operator Interwetten has linked up with German Bundesliga football club TSG Hoffenheim, while rival Eintracht Frankfurt has sealed an extension to a deal with German railway service Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV).
The Interwetten deal will run for three years through to June 2020.
Under the agreement, Interwetten will benefit from television advertising at Hoffenheim’s home ground, WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena, as well as promotion online and at the stadium’s hospitality facilities.
Meanwhile RMV has extended its partnership with Frankfurt up to the end of the 2019-20 season, continuing the pair’s 20-year partnership.
The agreement benefits RMV through stadium advertising and extensive digital rights, as well as combining tickets for travel on game days.
RMV and Frankfurt will also work together on joint digitisation projects, such as mobile phone tickets, the eTicket RheinMain, as well as a network of real-time data.
Frankfurt board member Axel Hellmann said: "Especially against the background of our digitisation plans, this partnership is of a very high importance.”
