Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has agreed a deal to sponsor this year’s Gold Cup national team football tournament, which is organised by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf).
As an official sponsor of the event, which runs from July 7-26 in the United States, Toyota will benefit from in-stadium signage, video board messaging and exposure on static boards. The company will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Fútbol Fiesta fan area.
To promote the tournament, Toyota will launch the Dale Duro (Give it Your All) multi-channel campaign, which will include broadcast commercials in English and Spanish, digital banners and videos, and social media content.
Toyota will also partner with Mexican comedian and actor Adrian Uribe to produce social content that will centre on the company’s Tundra truck. Uribe will visit the Fútbol Fiesta’s Toyota Fan Zone ahead of Mexico’s match with El Salvador in San Diego on Sunday.
