Toyota to bring up decade with AMA Supercross

Automotive giant Toyota has sealed a two-year extension to its sponsorship of the AMA Supercross motorcycling series.

Toyota’s agreement with the US series’ operator Feld Motor Sports covers the 2015 and 2016 seasons and the latter will mark the 10th consecutive year of the partnership.

Financial terms were not disclosed, while Toyota is expected to benefit from an increased presence at races through its fan interaction initiatives.

“Feld Motor Sports is pleased to continue our long standing relationship with Toyota,” Todd Jendro, vice-president of two wheel operations for Feld Motor Sports, said. “We look forward to working with them through the 2016 season and can't wait to see what they will bring to the sport in the next two years. Toyota is considered a pillar in the automobile industry, and we are happy to have them involved with Supercross.”
