Toyota drives on with USA Hockey

US ice hockey governing body USA Hockey has sealed a multi-year extension to its partnership with Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota.

Under the agreement, Toyota will remain as the naming sponsor of the USA Hockey National Championship for the youth, girls’/women’s, high school and sled hockey divisions.

The USA Hockey National Championships take place every spring to mark the end of the country’s domestic ice hockey season.

“Toyota and USA Hockey have established a great relationship to inspire the journey of the players, coaches and fans, and we look forward to going places together for seasons to come,” Ed Laukes, vice-president of marketing for Toyota, said.

Financial terms for the fresh sponsorship deal between USA Hockey and Toyota were not disclosed.
