LV Bet teams up with German ice hockey body

The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has entered into a partnership with online gambling operator LV Bet, while Iserlohn Roosters, which plays in the country’s Deutsche Eishockey Liga top-tier club competition, has extended a deal with national banking company Märkische Bank.

LV Bet has signed a one-year deal to become an official partner of both the DEB and the German national ice hockey team.

The company will receive in-arena branding at Germany home games and also have access to match tickets.

Germany’s men’s team won the silver medal at the 2018 winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, after losing to the Olympic Athletes from Russia in the gold medal match.

Meanwhile, Märkische Bank has opted to renew its partnership with the Iserlohn Roosters for the next three years.

The company, which began its support of the Roosters in 2005, will continue to benefit from branding placement on the back of players’ jerseys.

The Roosters currently sit eighth in the 2017-18 Deutsche Eishockey Liga table with 74 points from 50 matches.
