The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) has entered into a partnership with Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota.
The eight-year deal will run until the end of 2024 and will cover four Olympic Games in total.
As part of the agreement, Toyota has supplied CONI with 20 of its RAV4 Hybrid cars, four of its Lexus NX Hybrid vehicles and a Lexus 1 RX Hybrid. The vehicles will be used by CONI staff and Italian athletes.
Earlier this month, Toyota partnered with the German Olympic Committee (DOSB). The company is also a top-tier partner of the International Olympic Committee in a deal that runs through until the 2024 summer Games.
