Betting company Totolotek has agreed a deal to sponsor the Polish Cup club football competition.
The two-year deal, which Totolotek agreed with the Polish Football Association (PZPN), covers the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
As an official partner of the Polish Cup, Totolotek will be granted use of the tournament logo in its marketing communications. The company's logo will also be on display during matches and at other events associated with the competition.
Adam Lamentowicz, president of Totolotek, said: “The Polish Cup will be Totolotek’s first nationwide sponsorship project. We will have the opportunity to reach sports fans across the country through the competition, which is gaining in reputation. It perfectly captures the idea of the legal sports betting industry more actively supporting Polish football and other disciplines.”
Arka Gdynia is the defending Polish Cup champion, having defeated Lech Poznań 2-1 in last season’s final.
