Global bathroom fixtures and fittings manufacturer Toto has agreed a deal with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) to become the new title sponsor of its Japan Classic tournament.
Although the terms of the agreement were not disclosed, it was confirmed that the 2015 edition of the event will be known as the Toto Japan Classic.
This year’s tournament, which will take place from November 6-8 at the Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima-Shi, will feature an increased prize purse of $1.5m (€1.4m).
The Japan Classic, which was last year won by South Korea’s Mi Hyang Lee (pictured), is one of only three 54-hole tournaments on the LPGA Tour calendar.
