Canadian port authority Ports Toronto and domestic tolled highway operator 407 ETR have both agreed to become supporters of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games multi-sport event.
Ports Toronto will become both a sponsor and ‘supporter’ of the event. The authority will provide value-in-kind support by leveraging its watercraft, equipment, infrastructure and personnel to help Toronto 2015 in its various sports, cultural and torch relay activities.
As another supporter of the event, 407 ETR will provide usage of its highway for official Games vehicles, enabling buses carrying athletes, officials and Games Family members to arrive at events on time using the most efficient road routes.
The Toronto 2015 Pan American Games take place from July 10-26, with the Parapan American Games running from August 7-15 in the Canadian city.
