Toronto 2015 signs up Atos as latest premier partner

Information technology services company Atos has reached an agreement to become the fourth premier partner of Toronto’s staging of the 2015 Pan American/Parapan Games multi-sport event.

Under the deal, Atos will provide the Games with system integration services, along with timing, scoring and results solutions across more than 30 competition venues.

Atos, which is headquartered in Canada’s sixth largest city Mississauga, Ontario, will also be the title sponsor of the Markham Pan Am/Parapan Am Centre during the Games. The venue is set to play host to badminton, table tennis and water polo during the Pan Am Games.

Since 2001, Atos has served as the worldwide IT partner and a TOP sponsor of the Olympic Games. The company is also the official worldwide IT partner of the International Paralympic Committee and an official supporter of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Automotive brand and dealership Chevrolet Canada, technology company Cisco and food retailer Loblaw Companies sit alongside Atos in the Toronto 2015 premier partner category. CIBC serves as the top-tier lead partner.
