The Italian division of Japanese automotive company Suzuki has extended its sponsorship deal with Serie A football team Torino for the 2014-15 season.
Under the partnership, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, Suzuki will benefit from branding space on the right chest of Torino’s playing shirts.
Suzuki and Torino originally teamed up last season and the company will continue to enjoy a strong presence at the club’s Stadio Olimpico ground in Turin, including promotions for the commercial launch of its Celerio and Vitara models later this year.
Torino finished seventh in Serie A in 2013-14 and sealed qualification for the group stages of this season's Uefa Europa League on Thursday night with a 1-0 victory over RNK Split of Croatia. It began its latest domestic campaign with a goalless draw against Inter Milan yesterday (Sunday).
