The J.League, the top division of Japanese club football, has entered into a partnership with Swiss watch manufacturer Tag Heuer.
The deal names Tag Heuer as a ‘top partner’ of the competition. The length of the agreement was not disclosed but the deal will at least cover the remainder of the 2016 J.League season.
The agreement further cements Tag Heuer’s position within football. Last month, the watchmaker agreed a sponsorship deal with the Asian Football Confederation, while it also holds partnerships with the English Premier League, Spanish LaLiga and German Bundesliga club competitions.
