Swiss Ski, the national governing body for skiing in Switzerland, has renewed its partnership with telecommunications company Swisscom.
The new four-year deal will run until 2022. Swisscom will retain its position as the main sponsor of Swiss Ski, a role it has held since 2002.
Swisscom will continue to provide the body with financial support and telecommunications services, as well as performance bonuses and improved training conditions for athletes.
A new Swisscom Snow Day family initiative has also been launched with the new partnership. The program is an extension of the Swisscom Snow Days initiative launched by the company in 2013.
Swisscom will also title sponsor Switzerland’s Youth Cup, a national racing series for U14 and U16 athletes.
Meanwhile, a ‘Talent Pool’ project will be launched. This will place 10 young athletes from various sports within the Swiss Ski system in a bid to give them media exposure and strengthen their awareness amongst Swiss sports fans.
