English Premier League football club Sunderland has unveiled a new partnership with betting company Betfair.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, but Betfair will serve as the club’s official UK betting partner until at least the end of the 2015-16 season.
Under the agreement, Betfair will use the club’s platforms to connect with fans in the UK and will appear on the club’s LED screens and interview backdrops.
“Betfair is the fourth addition to the club’s partnership portfolio ahead of the 2015-16 season and we look forward to building a successful relationship with them, as we look to strengthen our stature both on and off the pitch,” Sunderland commercial director Gary Hutchinson said.
