German Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart has extended its partnership with financial services company Mercedes-Benz Bank.
The new deal will run until June 2023. Mercedes-Benz Bank will retain its position as the main sponsor of Stuttgart and will benefit from continued brand exposure on the front of the club’s shirts.
The bank will also receive advertising space at Stuttgart’s stadium, the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
As part of the new deal, EQ, the electromobility brand of Mercedes-Benz’s parent company Daimler, will receive brand exposure on the sleeve of Stuttgart’s shirts. Mercedes-Benz Bank will also support Stuttgart’s esports team.
Stuttgart finished the 2018-19 Bundesliga season in 16th place and is currently preparing for a two-legged relegation play-off against 2.Bundesliga team Union Berlin.
