Stoke City has become the latest English Premier League football club to secure an official sleeve sponsor after agreeing a deal with mobile football management game Top Eleven.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the multi-year deal will come into effect from the 2017-18 season. The deal was negotiated by the Lagardère Sports agency.
The Top Eleven logo will appear on the left sleeve of Stoke’s playing shirt. The arrangement applies to the first team, under-23s and the ladies team.
In March Manchester City became the first Premier League club to sign a sleeve sponsor by extending and expanding an existing partnership with South Korean tyre and rubber tubing manufacturer Nexen Tire.
Other clubs have taken a similar route by expanding deals with existing partners, but Stoke said it is the first Premier League team to sign a sleeve sponsorship deal with a new partner.
