Rugby league equipment and apparel manufacturer Steeden has agreed a five-year deal with South Africa Rugby League.
Along with providing all of the national team’s kit for the next five years, Steeden’s deal is tied in with supporting South Africa’s bid to host Rugby League World Cup 2017.
The terms of the agreement secure Steeden as the official licensee of all Rugby League World Cup 2017 merchandise if South Africa's bid is successful.
The formal process to decide the host of the tournament gets under way at the Rugby League International Federation annual general meeting in Cardiff, Wales today and South Africa is up against a combined bid from Australia and New Zealand.
