Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, the Spanish state lottery, has returned as a partner of Real Federación Española de Balonmano (RFEB), the governing body of handball in the country.
The length of the deal, which starts immediately, was not disclosed.
The agreement marks a return for the state lottery, which supported Spain’s national teams in 2011.
RFEB president Francisco Blázquez said that the sponsorship deal would give the governing body and its national men’s and women’s teams “impetus.” He added: “We must collaborate with brands to make Spanish handball an internationally recognised brand.”
