Major League Baseball team the St. Louis Cardinals has agreed a sponsorship deal with clothing line M4, which is owned by star player Yadier Molina (pictured).
The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names M4 as an official partner of the team.
M4 will take on naming rights to the Cardinals’ Spanish radio booth, with the brand to benefit from signage at Busch Stadium. Fans will also be able to win prizes while shopping for M4 apparel at the Cardinals’ Busch Stadium store. Busch Stadium is the exclusive retailer of M4 apparel in St. Louis.
Fans who visit the store can enter a draw to be in with a chance of throwing an honorary first pitch at a Cardinals home game. Other prizes will include a pregame field visit, the chance to deliver the game ball or lineup card at a home game, and a visit to the M4 Radio Booth.
Thane Van Breusegen, vice-president of corporate marketing and stadium entertainment for the Cardinals, said: “We're excited to support the brand's mission to share more of Yadi's personality and his proud Puerto Rican heritage.”
