The Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EHL), the top division of ice hockey in Austria, has agreed a three-year extension to its exclusive broadcast rights deal with the Sportsman Media Group.
Under the new deal, Sportsman has agreed to sell the domestic television rights to Servus TV, the broadcaster owned by energy drink brand Red Bull. The broadcaster will continue its Servus Hockey Night service, which is broadcast on Sundays.
The Sportsman’s Laola.tv website will provide live streaming of one game on Friday evenings, along with offering highlights of other matches.
