Sports social network Sportlobster has been announced as an official sponsor of the NFL’s International Series.
The American football league continues its popular series of games at London’s Wembley Stadium when Atlanta Falcons face Detroit Lions on Sunday. Jacksonville Jaguars conclude the 2014 Series when they take on the Dallas Cowboys on November 9.
Under the agreement, Sportlobster will also sponsor NFL UK and NFL UK Fan Forums and is set to benefit from activations at official fan events on the eve of both forthcoming games.
NFL UK has created a profile on Sportlobster and will supply relevant content for the games held in London.
Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK, said: “We are excited to partner with Sportlobster…because we can specifically target our fans with more relevant interactions and through a wider range of content. The popularity of the International Series is growing immensely. Fans want more engagement and more insight into the NFL and we can deliver this with Sportlobster.”
Sportlobster’s deal with the NFL follows a similar agreement with basketball’s NBA in relation to the North American league's Global Games events that took place in Berlin and Istanbul earlier this month.
