Online betting brand Sportingbet has become a new advertising partner of Brazilian club football on Globosat’s SporTV channel for the 2019 season.
The Brazilian market is unique in offering a group of major brands blanket commercial time during broadcast coverage of Brazilian club football.
According to media and marketing agency Meio & Mensagem, Sportingbet will join Ambev, Bradesco, Fiat, Ipiranga and Vivo, which have bought commercial time during the Brasileirão Série A and Série B, Estaduais, Copa do Brasil, Libertadores, Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, among others.
In 2019, Globo will earn R$1.9bn ($0.5bn) in advertising from the football package.
