Sponsorship deals at risk as Cazoo shuts down European business

Online car retailer Cazoo has decided to shut down its European business to focus on the UK, raising serious questions about the brand’s sports sponsorship deals on the continent.

The decision comes after the company initiated a strategic review at the beginning of August and will result in the loss of 750 staff in Europe to add to the 750 job cuts the company made in the UK earlier this year.
