Swimwear manufacturer Speedo has been unveiled as the latest sponsor of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Under the deal, Speedo will serve as the official swimwear provider for the Games. The company will supply swimwear and equipment to Glasgow 2014, including goggles, caps and training aids.
Glasgow 2014 added that Speedo would provide athletes with technical support, when required, and would also provide backstroke flags for the Games.
“This support ensures that the highest quality swimwear and accessories are available to athletes competing in swimming and triathlon,” Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg said.
Sean Hastings, vice-president of product and marketing at Speedo International, added: “The Commonwealth Games is a prestigious event and one with which Speedo has a long-standing association.”
