Food retail store chain Spar has agreed a deal with the Scottish Football Association to support the country’s women’s team as it prepares for its debut appearance at the Fifa Women’s World Cup.
Spar will back Scotland’s women’s team through to the summer of 2020.
The Women’s World Cup takes place in France from June 7 to July 7, with Scotland having been drawn alongside England, Argentina and Japan in Group D.
The Spar deal comes just days after Boots, the UK’s largest pharmacy-led health and beauty retail store chain, agreed deals with the football associations of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland to sponsor their respective women’s national teams.
