English County Championship cricket club Somerset has extended a title sponsorship agreement with St Austell Brewery, while rival team Lancashire has enhanced its partnership with online electricals retailer AO.com.
Under Somerset’s new four-year deal with St Austell, the brewery’s Tribute Cornish pale ale will continue to serve as the club’s title sponsor.
As part of the deal, Tribute's logo will appear on the front of the team’s County Championship shirts, and on the back of the club’s Royal London One Day Cup and T20 Blast jerseys. Tribute will also benefit from branding inside Somerset’s County Ground stadium.
In addition, St Austell will continue to provide the club’s drinks for the duration of the new agreement.
Meanwhile, AO.com’s expanded relationship with Lancashire will elevate the company to principal partner status. The new four-year deal will run until 2021.
AO.com will continue to sponsor the club’s Royal London One Day Cup kit, while it will now hold naming rights to the family and community stand at the club’s Old Trafford home ground.
AO.com joins Emirates, Hilton and Heineken as principal partners of Lancashire.
