Mars-owned chocolate bar brand Snickers will serve as the exclusive presenting partner of next year’s WrestleMania event after extending its partnership with the WWE wrestling organisation.
As part of the agreement, Snickers will team up with the WWE to produce TV commercials to promote WrestleMania 33, which takes place on April 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The campaign will feature WWE stars and will appear across the WWE’s various digital and social platforms, as well as on WWE Network and the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live programmes. The commercial will centre on Snickers' 'You're Not You When You're Hungry' campaign.
The WWE’s official channel on video-sharing platform YouTube will also be taken over by Snickers on the day of the event.
In addition, Snickers will be promoted at WrestleMania Axxess, the WWE’s four-day interactive fan festival, while the brand will receive further exposure through WWE live events, retail promotions and digital and social media content.
Snickers also served as the presenting sponsor for WrestleMania 32, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 3 this year. Snickers’ sponsorship of this year’s event earned the brand 1.5 billion impressions across WWE’s and NBCUniversal’s global platforms, including TV integrations, digital and social media, retail activation and appearances by WWE athletes.
