Australian consumer law firm Slater and Gordon has agreed a six-year partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee.
The agreement runs until the end of 2020 and takes in the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 summer Olympic Games, along with the 2018 winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
The sponsorship – a first of its kind between a law firm and the AOC – includes providing support services for Australia’s Olympians as well as financial contributions to help the committee prepare athletes for the Games, with a focus on anti-doping protocol.
Chef de Mission of the 2016 Australian Olympic team, Kitty Chiller, said: “The Australian Olympic Committee is committed to the fight against doping in sport and has been at the forefront of protecting the integrity of sport for many years and we are very happy to be working with Slater and Gordon to assist our athletes and officials as part of this process.”
