Singha Beer has signed up as the title sponsor of the Professional Darts Corporation’s Grand Slam of Darts.
The deal will run for three years, from 2014 to 2016, and will start with the 2014 event from November 8-16 in Wolverhampton, UK.
In the cross-code tournament, 32 players from the PDC and rival sanctioning bodies will come together to compete across nine days.
As part of the deal, Singha has also become the official beer of the PDC until 2016.
“This sponsorship is a further boost for the tournament as we prepare to welcome a record number of fans to the Wolves Civic throughout the nine days of play,” PDC chairman Barry Hearn said. “With just under two months still to go until the Singha Beer Grand Slam of Darts kicks off, we've already sold more tickets at this stage than in the previous seven years of the event, showing the amazing appetite of darts fans for seeing the world's greatest players in this unique tournament.”
