World Cup of Darts lands BetVictor as title sponsor

Online gambling company BetVictor has been unveiled as the title sponsor of this year’s World Cup of Darts.

The event will take place at Hamburg’s Barclaycard Arena from June 6-9 and will offer a top prize of £70,000 (€81,000/$91,000).

The World Cup of Darts will be contested by 32 nations this year. Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld of the Netherlands are the defending champions.

BetVictor has a long-standing relationship with the event’s operator, the Professional Darts Corporation, and title-sponsored the Masters earlier this year.
