Sigma Sports partners up with UCI Road World Championships

Cycling apparel and equipment retailer Sigma Sports has agreed a partnership with the 2019 Road World Championships, which take place in the English county of Yorkshire from September 22-29.

Sigma Sports will serve as an official supplier of the cycling showpiece, with the deal brokered by The Sports Consultancy agency.

The partnership will see Sigma Sports join forces with the International Cycling Union across a range of activities in the build up to and during this year’s events in Yorkshire.

Fans will soon be able to purchase their official UCI Road World Championships Mito National kit by Santini from Sigma Sports’ website, with a range of official Santini products also available.

Sigma Sports head of marketing, Calvin Cox, said: “The UCI Road World Championships is going to be another landmark for cycling in the UK, bringing the same level of excitement and reach as the London 2012 Olympic cycling events to a part of the UK that has well and truly fallen in love with the sport.

“We’ve traditionally been very well known in the South East of the UK. This iconic event provides a vehicle for us to share the Sigma Sports story with a new audience of passionate cyclists in the heart of Yorkshire and beyond.”
