Haulage and logistics company DBL Logistics has agreed a title sponsorship deal with British Basketball League team the Sheffield Sharks.
The two parties have agreed a three-year deal, which will cover the 2016-17 to 2018-19 BBL seasons. The club will officially be titled the DBL Sharks Sheffield for the duration of the deal.
As part of the agreement, a new team logo will be designed and will feature on the Sharks’ home and away playing jerseys. DBL Logistics, a Sheffield-based company, had served as the Sharks' back-of-jersey sponsor since the 2014-15 campaign.
The club was crowned the 2015-16 BBL play-off champion after defeating the Leicester Riders 84-77 at London’s O2 Arena earlier this month.
