Spanish LaLiga football club Sevilla has unveiled US sportswear company Nike as its new kit supplier.
Nike will serve as Sevilla’s technical sponsor for the three-year period spanning the 2018-19 to 2020-21 seasons.
Nike will replace rival US brand New Balance as Sevilla’s kit partner. New Balance’s five-year deal with the club expired at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Sevilla said it has chosen to partner with Nike following several months of talks between the two parties.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the ABC de Sevilla news website, citing sources familiar with the matter, said the deal is “more than favourable” for the club.
Nike already holds LaLiga contracts with Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona and Málaga.
