Rugby equipment manufacturer Rhino has agreed a partnership with the South African Rugby Union.
Rhino will supply breakdown and scrumming equipment to South Africa’s national team under a three-year deal running until 2018.
The first set of Rhino equipment was delivered to the Springboks at their training camp in Johannesburg this week.
Reg Clark, chief executive of the Rhino Group, said: “Rhino’s relationship with South African rugby goes back a long way and is something we are very proud of. An official supplier deal with the Springboks takes this onto a new level. We hope to use it as a springboard to grow our market share in our core product area and develop our brand further in this very important rugby market.”
