Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club São Paulo has extended kit sponsorship deals with building materials supplier Joli and soft drinks producer Poty.
Both companies have agreed new two-year deals with the club covering the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Joli’s branding will remain on the back of São Paulo’s jerseys, while Poty’s logo will continue to appear on the team’s shorts.
Joli will receive promotion via São Paulo’s social media channels and will be granted a corporate box for the club’s home games.
Poty will also be given a corporate box, while it will benefit from exposure at the São Paulo’s training centre and via the club's official website. Its beverage cans will also be placed on tables during press conferences organised by São Paulo.
São Paulo played through the 2015 season without any major sponsor deals, but now holds agreements with Prevent Senior, Corr Plastik, TIM, FIAP, Joli and Poty.
Vinicius Pinotti, São Paulo’s director of marketing, said: “Poty’s strategy to use the partnership with São Paulo as a platform to nationalise its brand is a testament to the new era of the institution, which resumed its credibility in the market. The last 12 months have shown that with serious and competent work we can attract, even in times of crisis, fundamental business for the club.”
