Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football team Sao Paulo has reached a sponsorship deal with Panamanian airline Copa Airlines.
To launch the one-year partnership, Copa Airlines’ branding featured on Sao Paulo’s playing shirts during the club’s 2-1 win over Uruguay’s Danubio in the Copa Libertadores this week.
Copa Airlines will activate the partnership through digital and social media promotions, along with advertising and other visibility opportunities in association with Sao Paulo.
Earlier this month, Sao Paulo secured a commercial partnership with energy drinks brand Gatorade having signed a five-year kit deal with US sportswear manufacturer Under Armour which is effective from May.
