UCI WorldTour cycling team Trek-Segafredo has entered into a partnership with Italian sportswear manufacturer Santini.
The deal names Santini as the team’s technical clothing partner. The length of the agreement was not disclosed but it will begin with the 2018 season.
Santini will provide Trek-Segafredo riders with technical and casual clothing as part of the agreement.
The team’s general manager, Luca Guercilena, said: “Santini knows what it takes to be the technical clothing partner of a WorldTour team, racing around the globe in all sorts of weather conditions. Right from the start we sensed they are able to anticipate our needs, to individualise where needed and to deliver quickly. Therefore, I am confident this partnership will be very successful.”
Santini has a wealth of partnerships with cycling organisations, teams and events such as the International Cycling Union (UCI) and ‘Grand Tours’ the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana.
