Spanish banking group Santander has agreed a sponsorship deal with men’s tennis tournament the Rio Open.
The Máquina do Esporte website said Santander has signed a three-year contract which will run from this year’s tournament, commencing today (Monday), through to the 2021 edition.
Santander will serve as the top ‘host sponsor’ of the Rio Open, sitting below title sponsor Claro on the sponsorship tree.
The Rio Open is a 500 series event on the men’s ATP Tour and is regarded as South America’s leading tennis tournament.
