Korean electronics giant Samsung has been named as title sponsor of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile, the top division of women’s club volleyball in Italy.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Samsung will take on naming rights to the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile and its associated events from the 2016-17 season.
The new campaign gets underway later today (Wednesday) with the Samsung Gear Volleyball Cup.
The Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile is regarded as one of the best women’s volleyball leagues in the world and contains the reigning CEV Volleyball Champions League winner Pomi Casalmaggiore.
