The World Surf League (WSL) has renewed a partnership with electronics manufacturer Samsung.
The length of the multi-year deal has not been disclosed.
Samsung will sponsor both the men's and women's Samsung Galaxy WSL World Championship tours worldwide.
Building on the ‘Everyday is Day One’ campaign launched in 2014, Samsung and the WSL will work together to develop initiatives to showcase the best of the WSL and Samsung’s mobile technology.
Younghee Lee, executive vice-president of global marketing, IT and mobile division at Samsung Electronics, said: “Together, we plan to develop meaningful programmes that integrate our mobile technology – including the world's most advanced smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6 – to honour the athleticism, adventure and unique culture of this passionate sport.”
