Italian Serie A football club Sampdoria has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with seating equipment manufacturer Lino Sonego.
The partnership will initially run until the end of the 2016-17 season. Lino Sonego will serve as a ‘second sponsor’ of Sampdoria and its branding will feature on the front of the club’s jerseys.
The agreement commences with Sampdoria’s away game at Inter Milan later today (Monday).
In December, Sampdoria agreed a short-term shirt sponsorship deal with tour operator Veratour. The agreement was signed to run through to Sampdoria’s trip to face Palermo on February 26, with the club having operated without a main sponsor from the start of the current 2016-17 season.
Sampdoria is currently 10th in Serie A with nine games of the season remaining.
