The South African Football Association has entered into a partnership with Turkish clothing brand D’S Damat.
The brand has signed a three-year deal to sponsor South Africa’s men’s and women’s national teams.
As part of the deal, players will dress in D’S Damat clothing for all official games. The company will also provide items for SAFA executives and other staff.
Specific financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but the SAFA said the value of the agreement runs into “millions of rand”.
D’S Damat’s regional sales manager Ferhat Saridogan said that the partnership may also be extended to other South African teams, including junior sides.
D’S Damat also sponsors the Turkish national team and Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe.
