Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with the Indian division of US technology company HP.
The deal covers the 2018 IPL season and grants HP brand exposure on the front of RCB’s shirts.
HP will also benefit from visibility through on-ground activations and other promotions, while RCB players will feature in HP commercials to promote the partnership.
In addition, HP will launch giveaways for fans, with prizes such as player meet-and-greets on offer.
Neelima Burra, country marketing director for HP India, said, according to the InsideSport website: “We believe our association with RCB will help us strengthen our engagement with the millennials in India and bring the world of cricket and technology on a single platform.”
The 2018 IPL season gets underway on April 7. RCB’s team will feature India captain Virat Kohli, as well as the likes of AB de Villiers and Brendon McCullum.
