Argentinian Primera División football club Rosario Central has named consumer electronics manufacturer TCL as its new main sponsor.
The length of the agreement was not disclosed but it will begin in December.
TCL’s branding will feature on the front and back of Rosario’s shirts as part of the agreement, while it will also benefit from advertising exposure at the club’s stadium and headquarters.
The two parties will work on various commercial and marketing initiatives to promote the partnership.
Raúl Broglia, president of Rosario Central, said: “Two years ago we started working on a very strong commercial and technological strategy, understanding that the Rosario Central brand is one of the most important in sports in Argentina, and generating new revenues to strengthen the finances of the club.
“In this regard, an alliance of this type with a technology firm is no coincidence, but reinforces all the concepts that we have been mentioning in this administration and we will continue pushing for the club to grow.”
