AFL Aussie rules football team the Richmond Tigers has extended its partnership with automotive manufacturer Jeep.
The company will continue to serve as a joint major sponsor of the team for three more seasons, from 2018 to 2020.
Jeep’s branding will continue to feature on the front of the Tigers’ jerseys as part of the agreement.
As part of the deal, Jeep Australia will provide two Jeep vehicles to the Korin Gomadji Institute, which runs education and training programs for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth area.
The partnership began in 2011 and the new contract makes Jeep the Tigers’ longest serving joint major sponsor in the club’s 132-year history.
Richmond chief executive Brendon Gale said: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Jeep beyond 2017, in what is a significant and record major partnership for the Richmond Football Club.”
Jeep is a co-major sponsor of Richmond alongside insurance group Bingle.
